FIONA’S STORY
First screened on BBC One in September 2008, Fiona’s Story is a disturbing depiction of how the spectre of child pornography can affect a seemingly happy family. Jeremy plays the father, Simon, who is arrested on suspicion of downloading child pornography and bailed to appear before magistrates. The story is told from his wife Fiona’s viewpoint as she struggles to not only come to terms with his behaviour and betrayal but also hold the family unit together in some semblance of normal life while the legal process runs its course.
Gina McKee, who co-starred with Jeremy in Harold Pinter’s play, Old Times, plays Fiona.
To the best of our knowledge, this programme has not been screened outside the UK in the USA and is not currently available on DVD.
